Is it just us, or did this summer’s Pride celebrations feel extra sparkly? No wonder, because True North Cannabis Co’s local crews turned Pride 2024 into the most epic, love-filled, cannabis-friendly party across Ontario. 

We didn’t just join the celebration—we turned it up to 11 because when it comes to love, acceptance, and top-shelf flowers, True North doesn’t do anything halfway. If you see your neighbourhood dispensary giving off major rainbow vibes this summer and beyond, it’s because we’re not about that corporate rainbow-washing life. No, we’re all about getting involved in our local communities.

So strap in because we’re about to show you where and when we’ll be spreading love, laughter, and sharing some good old cannabis education this Pride season!

Sault St. Marie Pride Events

Rotary Day Parade Float

📌 Queen St. | July 20, 11:00 a.m.

Join us as we ride the wave of good vibes on the Rotary Day Parade Float on Queen St.! We’re joining not only to wave rainbow flags (though we’ll be doing plenty of that, for sure!), but to show our community that the True North Nation accepts every single person, regardless of how they identify, who they love—or even what their favourite strain is. 

Whether you’re a joint roller or a vape enthusiast, we’re here to celebrate the full spectrum of both the rainbow and the plant. Our float will be a testament to the diverse, colourful, and vibrant community we serve—much like the variety of infused goodies on our shelves.

Keep an eye out for our budtenders, decked out in Pride colours and ready to chat about community and the latest in cannabis culture!

Flag Raising and Pride Walk

Raising the Pride flag is more than a symbolic gesture—it’s a powerful statement of inclusivity that’s as bold as our most potent cannabis strains. Just as we believe in the diverse terpene profiles that make each strain unique, we celebrate the beautiful spectrum of identities in our community.

This walk is our chance to show that True North is committed to creating a safe space for everyone, whether you’re shopping for your next favourite pre-roll or just looking for a judgment-free zone to be yourself.

Come walk with us and let’s raise the Pride flag high together!

Loud & Proud

📌 Reberta Bondar Pavilion | July 21, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Get ready to turn up the volume on love and acceptance! This event is all about celebrating our differences and finding common ground, much like discovering the perfect balance between head high and body high. For the team at True North, it’s a chance to listen, learn, and show that we’re here for EVERYONE in our community, whether you’re a wake-and-baker or a night-time toker. 

We’ll be rolling out the green carpet (pun intended) and creating a chill zone where you can relax, be yourself, and maybe even learn a thing or two about weed. From strain recommendations to tips on responsible consumption, we’re here to educate and elevate.
